ok, so as of yesterday, i have now won two games of twilight imperium. i'm kind of a big deal
#there was also one other game we had to end early and since multiple people (including me) were all at the same amount of points, we called it a tie
#so i'm kind of an even bigger deal
#just ignore that i've played like, more than 20 games of ti
#and most of those have been like, 5 or 6 players (with a little bit of 4 player as well)
#probably on average like 5.25 players per game
#so statistically i should have won like four or five games at this point if i was good at the game at all
#but also, it's worth noting that statistics, as a field of study, is lame and bad, so who cares how many games i should have won statistically.

ok, so i've been playing splatoon raiders for a while now (i have 35 hours on it as of now, so i guess maybe not that much actually), and i'm well into the post game and it has been taking forever for me to get any good weapons that i actually like using, but i finally got a five star squelcher and it's is so much nicer than having to just use a level 50+5 one
#i made it to around buffet 150 before i gave up and started leveling up an explosher that i had
#but i like squelcher so much more

i went on a really awesome bike ride earlier today and it was super cool but now my legs hurt :(
#it was super cool though
#they closed down a bunch of the bridges to cars, so it was just bikes going on them
#and it went back and forth on like seven different bridges
#it was super cool and the view of the river was great
#but now my legs hurt
#and i also had to walk to d&d and back which is like a half hour walk each way, so that wasn't the most fun of a walk
#d&d itself was fun though

i've messed around with a bunch of stuff behind the scenes for how the theme switcher works and there's a chance that i might have broken something, but i'm not sure and i think it's probably fine. also, i have a way to do spoiler text now. it's awful and you have to hold down on it in order to see what it says

it's so weird looking at some of the art from ti3, because like, some of the art in ti4 is reused from ti3 but it's attached to different characters (like, the art from sucaban is attached to ta zern now, despite the fact that dr. sucaban is still a character who exists and has new art in ti4 and ta zern isn't like, a new character; he was in ti3 just with different art), and also like s'ula mentarion has changed species between editions? like, she's still part of the mentak, but in 3rd edition she was a druaa and now she's a human (and the mentak coallition was generally just more diverse in ti3 compared to how it is now). also, the saar look way different now - in third edition they all looked like captain aroz of the firmament. it's just kind of weird to look at (cool though)

today was awesome!! a while ago me and logan made some homebrew factions for ti4 and today we finally played a game with them, and it was super cool, and they seemed to be pretty well balanced against each other and it was quite close (ended in r5 action phase with people at 10, 9, 8, and 7 points each), and since it was a 4p game it was a lot shorter (and we got the agenda that puts a stage 2 out early, so that also accelerated how long it took), but it was the shortest game i've played by far (like, 6 and a half hours).
and then, afterwards, since we ended so much earlier one of the friends who was there brought dead cells and we played a few runs of that, which was also cool - i hadn't played that before and it was a lot of fun as well
#i'm also planning to put the stuff we made onto this site at some point so look forward to that if you want

ok, so i have found (and fixed) the first problem from when i messed with the theme switcher about a week and a half ago, which was that links weren't underlining when you hover over them anymore, but it's fixed now, so that's cool

ok, so in terms of who is sending me jokes, i maybe have a better idea of who it is, because someone in the discord server that i mentioned told the geography geology joke, so there's a chance that that's who sent it to me (and likely sent the other jokes too i think)
